Comic Conventions

Hey everyone,

Yesterday I was able to snag a ticket for San Diego for Sunday from the resale. I've only been to Baltimore the past couple years and I just listened to the CGS convention survival guide episode again and still had a few questions.

I currently don't have a sketchbook and was looking to buy one and grab a few sketches, what should I be looking for? Like paper type, size, etc. Will I still be able to grab exclusives or will I be too late because I'm going on the last day? And will there be dollar bins or will the comics be mostly full price generally?

I'm pretty active on the Friends of Comic-Con board. There's a very good First Timers thread there. There's a lot of things that are very specific to SDCC that you'll want to review.
