NEWS: Alpha Flight trade - hold off on that pre-order this month

I know many of us pre-order our books, and were bemoaning the fact that the recent Alpha Flight release (from Greg Pak) was apparently splitting its release over two trades - the first of which is available for pre-order this month.

Well, taking a look at the pre-order releases for NEXT month - they have the entire series (1-8 plus the .1 issue) collected in one trade. Higher price tag, sure, but it's all in one trade.

So if you're an Alpha Flight fan (like me), it might behoove you to adjust your order accordingly.

It's really crazy that they would have two trades in two months. Ridiculous trading policies really burn my ass.

I'd rather pay more for a trade that has a substantial amount of issues to it than drop $15-20 on four or five collected issues. Irredeemable and Incorruptible are lucky they're so darn good! :)

I got burned on this one, I pre-ordered the Vol.1 HC. Does anyone know if there are plans for a Vol.2?

Any chance they'll cancel the initial collections in favor of the complete one? They've done that before. Pre-Disney, of course, but still.

I doubt it, the incomplete trade came out last month. So I'm thinking that they will just not do a Vol.2 HC.
