Yahoo! Fantasy Football: CGS Footbal Pro-Bowlers '12!

It's that time again, folks. The 2012 Yahoo! Fantasy Football season is now open for business! I have sent invitations out to each participant from last year's league to see if they are looking to join this year. I'll keep this invite open to returning teams until one month from today, July 15th. If at that point we don't have 16 teams, I'll be opening things up to the general CGS forum pool.

If you're interested in joining in, let me know! Post a reply here and I will shoot you a PM when a spot is officially opened. First come first serve. Last year's dues and prizes will yet again be in effect: 1st prize winner will receive a $40 $80 gift certificate from InStock Trades (two $40 ones); 2nd place will receive $20 $40, 3rd place will receive $10 $20. This year, we'll also be offering a $10 $20 prize to the winner of the Consolation Playoffs. This means there will be dues of $5 $10 per team. If you folks would like to up the dues to $10 per team, the pot will increase accordingly across the board.

If for some reason we fill all 16 spots from last year, I'd be open to starting up a second league. I'll let you folks know!

We're currently at 14 people so the second league is more than likely. Same rules and dues will apply, although the prizes will be determined by how many folks we wind up with. The cap will be at 16 teams no matter what as we've done bigger leagues before and they are incredibly uneven.

Just joined... but did I just screw the league up? There's a note on the side of the page that says there's now an odd number of teams, and there needs to be an even number. It let me sign up so I figured it was still open. Let me know if I need to delete my team, or if there just needs to be one more team added. This will be my first fantasy football league... my son wants to do it, so it's for him.

I joined too. So it should be even. How come no one mentioned this when i was asking about leagues?

I believe it was. And at the time it was full. But now spots have opened up it appears. No worries, sir. It is the only the League of Substitute Fantasy Footballers, the real CGS Fantasy League has been full for as long as I have been at these boards (the last 3 years or more)... I myself have not been able to get into that one, yet! HA!
