Picked up Mark Evanier's hefty "Kirby: King of Comics" book from the bargain section at Barnes and Noble today for $12.98. If you're like me and wanted to get it but just never got around to it because of the price tag, get on that!
I'm assuming it's all because I posted this exact same topic on the old forums because I saw it at mine and others bought it after reading that. Or at least, if not all, multiple B&N's.
I checked my B&N online and it said none were available in the store. I'm assuming this is because it's in the bargain bin. I'd hate to make a trip just to find out they don't have it. I just got a bunch of Kamandi books from the 70's. For some reason I never thought I would own an original book from Kirby (not a reprinted version) and it's got me really interested.
EDIT: I swung by today and picked one up ($13). Apparently their website doesn't list them in the store since they're in the bargain bin (confirming what I originally thought). I'm excited to begin reading through this.
