Josh Trank, director of Chronicle, has been officially named director of Fox's Fantastic Four reboot. He was previously attached to the film, though it was uncertain if his role would be director. Even though Trank is linked to the Venom film, and has signed on to direct The Red Star and Shadow of the Colossus, Fox believes Fantastic Four will be his next film.
The movie is expected to go into production following the X-Men First Class sequel, which starts shooting in January.
