Stephan King's The Dark tower discussion (warning might contain spoilers)

Been noticing lots of talk about the Dark Tower series of novels,so figured a thread about them might come in handy.
I first read The gunslinger back in 1988 and was hooked. And since then have read each book as they came out. Currently I am reading "The Wind through the keyhole". Which is Book 4.5 in the series. But besides that book I have read all the other ones at least 4 times now.
SPOILERS YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!
For all of yall that have read all the books I have a theory as to why King put out a revised version of the first book. As you know at the end of book 7 we find out that Roland is in a time loop. But each time he goes through the loop some things change. So here is my theory. King wants people to read the original version of Book 1 ,then the rest of the books. Then after finishing book 7 you are suppose to read the revised book 1.
