Deadpool Relaunched by Brian Posehn, Gerry Duggan and Tony Moore. Wait, what?

I like Brian Posehn's standup, great comedian. And he's a huge nerd (check out 'Comedians of Comedy' to see him and Patton Oswalt hit the comic shop). Gerry Duggan has some solid credits and nerd cred as well. But anytime I see Tony Moore on a book I get sad. Not because of his work, which is some of my favorite art, but because he is horrible at keeping up with a schedule and letting the book be regularly published. He started strong on Venom with issues 1,2,4 and 5, but that was it! Fear Agent had similar delays. I hope I am wrong, but he likely doesn't make it more than a few issues on what is sure to be an interesting read. It has to be better than Daniel Way's last 2 years writing the book which had some solid arcs (Deadpool: Dead) but mostly was Deadpool fighting vampires. In conclusion, way to go new blood!

Other than Tony, I don't think I'm familiar with the other guys. Aside from possible delays from Moore, is this a good thing, bad thing or a wait and see kind of thing?

Without even looking at that IMDB page, one of the earliest things that I know Posehn from is one episode of Seinfeld where Kramer and Mickey had "acting" gigs at a hospital with students of some sort, where they would act out various diseases. He's so deadpan.

He's written at least one comic before. I remember buying a copy. "The Last Christmas", or something like that...?

I've never tried a Deadpool book before, but I'm definitely in for the first few issues here. Hopefully, they won't double ship...

Posehn was the pastor at the wedding of Reed and Sue in FF2 but I don't blame anyone if you forgot about anything from that movie. I actually envy you

I really like Deadpool and I enjoy Brian Posehn's comedy. I'm looking forward to this! I recommend checking out the Joe Rogan's podcast when Posehn was on. What an interesting guy.
