Nothing new catches my eye at Marvel or DC (waiting for Westfield to update their site to watch covers for indy titles), but that "Tarzan in the Planet of the Apes" TPB at Dark Horse looks tasty.

At Marvel, I'm more excited about Ewing and Sook on Inhumans Prime than X-Men Prime (though Kitty as the new leader of the X-Men is intriguing). That creative team finally has me more interested in an Inhumans book than an X-Men book.

Mike Perkins on Iron Fist is a good pick. Perkins is an under-rated artist, and has had a sterling Gene Colan-inspired run on the Carnage comic this year.

And America sounds like better version of the recent Star Brand & Night Mask comic. Quinones was great on Howard the Duck, so looking forward to this.

Put in my dcbs order, realized Marvel is doing a new-new-new fantastic four.

One of my favorite groups of the 90s was the new fantastic four. For those unfamiliar Walt Simonson created it for a two issue arc in FF. The members were Ghost Rider, Wolverine, Hulk, and Spider-Man. The group was used again a few years later in a short 2 issue arc of ff. Simonson's issues were great.

Then a few years ago during the 6 issue vicous circle arc of Venom marvel created the new-new fantastic four made up of Rulk, girl ghost Rider, x-23, and venom. It was okay.

Now marvel is teaming up car Rider, silk, chulk, and x-23 as the new new new fantastic four. It might be interesting car Rider is actually a good character.

Thanks, I missed that Ghost Rider #5 solicit!. But now I thought it was Art Adams that did that 90's arc, or did Simonson do it first? I need to check my back issues...

We would both be right. Art on art and Walt on words.

I haven't been reading it, no. Was planning on trade waiting or seeing if an omnibus comes out.

I would like a nice hardcover KISS Omnibus to sit next to the Kompendium.
