I dug it. They gave us a little more to expand on the scenes we’ve pretty much already have seen in the last two trailers. Plus, if anyone has read the rumored first 2 acts of Endgame, it’s sounding more valid.
I think they have said what they've shown are scenes from the first 20 minutes or so. Probably because if they showed more they'd reveal exactly how their going to try and bring everyone back.
Guessing it has something to do with the Quantic Realm.
Definitely seems like a time jump happens in the movie.
And while I love both Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr, I think they are perfect for their roles. If this really is their last movie? Then I'd rather see those roles recast then not have Steve Rogers and Tony Stark in any future MCU movies.
And I kinda hope this is the last MCU crossover movie in awhile. I'd love to see another actual Avengers movie.
When they recast Cap & Stark, I’d prefer its when Phase 6 starts. Give some time for newer characters to get developed. Plus, recasting right out of the gate might not be as well embraced as it was with Banner & Rhodey.

Yeah I'd be good with something like that happening.
Kevin Moyer (a pre-Thanos snap victim years before Infinity War) & I discussed way back in Phase 1 that if Chris Evans wasn’t believable as Steve Rogers, then Avengers would fail. If Avengers failed, this whole thing fails a part.

Which is why a post Chris Evans MCU isn't going to be as interesting for me. And I am biased because Cap is my favorite Marvel character. He ended up being the absolute perfect Steve Rogers. And it's going to suck not having him around going forward.
Cool final trailer. As much as I like the “do you trust me?” scene, I think it’s a fake out. Based on leaked set photos & the background, I think it’s Tony with Cap, but not Cap.
Anyone watch the newest footage? It seemed like the opening teaser before the Avengers logo. I’m wondering if Carol dies in an initial second round match up with Thanos, so she’s not there for the final fight.
Not sure who’s watching any of the press tour for the movie, but here’s a great round table with the original 6. It feels like half the discussion is about each person’s initial or most memorable Stan Lee encounter, but they’re great stories.
Stay off of YouTube. I was looking for more of the press tour & had to delete 3 clips with released footage of the end. I’ve seen only about 2 seconds worth total, but more then I wanted to.
For Infinity War I paid $6.36 because I always go the Sunday matinee the weekend a movie opens. I paid $10.02 for an 11:55 showing today. There are a couple factors for the increase in my case. Earlier this year the theatre I go to renovated and now has luxury "lounge seating" ( which I hate) in all of the theatres. Naturally, they are going to pass on the cost of said renovation by increasing ticket prices. Secondly, they have also instituted "reserved seating" for ALL showings (something I also hate), which means I have to pre-order tickets online, which means paying an online fee. Fortunately, I got a gift card to the theatre, so it was, technically, free.
I might be in the minority, but I like the lounge chairs (comfortable seating in my media room, why not have it at a theatre) & reserved seats. The theatre that I use (which serves meals & alcohol) has tickets sold online or at their ticket booth. I like the convenience of knowing Thursday night, I didn’t have to get there at 8pm for good seats at a 10:45 showing.
In general I like my local cinema, it's within walking distance, it's only a decade old and has stadium style seating so you get a good view wherever you sit.
But in the last 5 months there's been problems, the heating was out in the biggest screen for ages while a part shipped from the states via surface mail, they hadn't updated front of house software so I couldn't get a refund on my online payment for the screen being so cold, and Endgame was the first time I'd seen the projector bulb so dim. (This is a trick unscrupulous cinemas do to try to save money, either deliberately or by not changing the bulb in a timely manner).
So when they raise prices, while trying to drive you to two different membership schemes, it rubs salt in the wound. Unfortunately the best alternatives involve an overpriced train journey or nightmarish drive round a city with the country's most confusing ring road (it somehow goes through the middle of the city!).

Re-reading the rumored 2 acts of Endgame. It looks as though at least 1 scene found its way into an Infinity War trailer.
just about a month to go.

I'm hoping Endgame ends with a "stoned" Thanos like at the end of Avengers King Size Annual #7.

Looks like RDJ credits the same.

And I think in the final battle, based on the last scene here, Cap finally wields Mjolnir.

I found this & it’s worth a viewing:
The embargo gets lifted today at 2pm, so I’d avoid social media to prevent spoilers.

Holy F***
Looks like it’s $1.2 billion.

Not bad for a “comedy, kid’s movie,” eh DC hardo fans?!
Mine were 3.5% more expensive. YOY inflation is 1.9% here atm, so I should probably reconsider how often I go to the cinema.
My ticket went up only $.50 since Infinity War. Apparently, it’s $.75 more since I saw Black Panther, but held the same since I saw Halloween.

I went to see it in Yonkers, so my tickets were actually about a buck or two cheaper than they were when I saw Infinity War in the Bronx.
I actually prefer the original title of the movie:
