Much like the recent changes at the television channels handled by WarnerMedia, DC Comics has been cleared out at the top. There's other details on "rumour" sites, but I suspect Variety will have follow up articles covering questions that this article raises (such as referring to Jim Lee as Chief Creative Officer rather than Publisher...)

DC Universe and DC Direct also affected, with DC Direct explicitly being shut down.
That was a blood letting for DC. It doesn't look good comics
