wow. congratulations guys. Mr. Deemer and Mr. Rios you guys created a great show and thankyou. Jamie D, Pants, Matt, Murd, and Shane thankyou.
It's been an amazing 9 years. I love you guys and the community you created and fostered. I can't thankyou enough for all the work you you've put in and entertainment you have given me.
The 9th anniversary is traditionally Willow/Pottery, & in modern age, its leather.
So, we expect someone to hire Alyson Hannigan to appear in the CGS studio, re-enact the pottery scene from Ghost while wearing nothing but thigh-high boots!
To Pete's address, send Warwick Davis with an Ewok plate & a piece of Madmartigan's belt.

But I some googling and this is what the internet says so might not be 100% accurate:
Shortly before Mad Martigan became a world class swordsman he graduated with honors from Pacific Tech. As he left school he had no real direction in life Mad Martigan truly came into his own as rogue swordsman for hire. Becoming bored with life he unsuccesfully tried his hand at crime fighting, he also had a rather successful rock career.
However his life spiraled downward due to drug abuse and the toils of the road. Martigan found himself robbing banks and starring in adult films to fund his increasing drug habit. Due to increased pressure from law enforcement he fled to Africa. After a brief encounter with 2 large male lions and a bout with tuberculosis Martigan returned to the US where he had a spiritual awakening on Sioux Reservation.
Martigan began a new life as a frontier lawman and ace fighter pilot. Within a few years of his life change Mad Martigan died alone in New Orleans from TB.
Congrats to a great podcast and one I looks forward to every week. To me, it's not just about the podcast but also the forums and community that make this place so enjoyable. And all because a couple of guys decided to start recording themselves talking about funny books.
The first actual PODCAST I listened to, and still the one I call home. Congrats, and I hope everyone who is playing in the studio is having fun...because if it isn't fun, it's not worth doing.

Here's to 9 more =D>
You've had the most entertaining and informative comics podcast since day one.

And in two days I'm leaving for London to help with the convention that I helped start.
It really has been a wild ride.
