That is how desperate Fox has become to have a movie universe that there making a Gambit solo movie. Because Gambit is just known for all his amazing solo stories and adventures said no one ever.

There is a banner up on Marvel Unlimited that says "The Best of Ant-Man!" And, while I haven't clicked through, I am guessing that is not going to be too long of a tail.
You want to make a good Catwoman solo movie? I point you to Darwyn Cooke’s Selina’s Big Score, or the Ed Brubaker/Darwyn Cooke/Cameron Stewart Catwoman series. All you need to make one great movie is one great story.

I notice Man of Steel and Superman Returns are conspicuously missing from the list. Some comics movies suffer from having too little a budget, and that can, in some respects, be a mitigating factor (Salinger Captain America, Corman FF, etc.) . There is no excuse for The Spirit and it's big-budget ilk, and I think Man of Steel and Superman Returns fall into that category. I don't think Superman Returns belongs in the bottom group either.
Regarding the first video. What sold that scene for me was the little look Superman gave the gunman after the bullet bounced of Supes' eye. Routh nailed it.

The kid himself wasn't annoying to me (well, maybe his hair), even the idea of him though wasn't really an issue for me personally. My issue was mainly that it all painted the characters (primarily superman) into a corner that couldn't be resolved satisfactorily. Imo, not counting the suit, the only problems with Returns was mainly that it just lacked a couple more needed action beats, and the jarring, weird feeling situation and tonal shift at the end when he "dies".

Yes... and with it's budget, and director's pedigree, it should have never turned out that way.
I have always contended that Superman is a GREAT character, and his good stories are comic book gold, but that's only a very small handfull of stories.. the rest are crap. Writers have a very hard time getting him right.

That might be the best review I've read of either movie.
The Spirit is unwatchable in my opinion. It's just so, so bad. Jonah Hex and Catwoman are up there are as well.
I've seen all the movies on this list and they are bad but I think Green Lantern is more disappointing than flat out bad. I would also say that when I was a kid I thought Spawn was pretty good but I haven't seen it since it came out like 20 years ago.
