Ugh. Aquaman and Supergirl are both tied up in crossovers. :-q Hope they stay readable on their own or else my pull list might get a little leaner.

Might pick up the Wonder Woman trade, since I passed on the hardcover.

That complete collection of Global Frequency is tempting. Remember reading the first issue and liking it, but never got back to it.

    Bombshell #1:
I am dropping Justice League aka I am NOT buying an Aquaman comic too.

    Bombshell #2
No J.H. Williams III on art that book is off my pull list. Sandman comic it doesn't impress me that much so Batwoman gets dropped.

So I will still get Superboy & Supergirl for the H'EL on Earth crossover.

On the trades side, John Byrne Man of Steel vol. 7 tpb. Yes I have the issues bound at home but I still will get this just to support one of my favorite creators & characters.

I have to re-reorder Fables Deluxe Ed. vol. 6 HC (bummer).

For a change no statues or figures I *have* to have - although that Silk Spectre is a NICE lookin' statue. I'm definitely in on the new Fables trade, but other than that it's looking like the usual suspects for me.

The current Fables arc is pretty good unless it takes a wrong turn at Albuquerque w/ the last issue.

    PS
Pesmo beach is available in Florida after reading the first issue of Catwoman #1, Red Hood & the Outlaws #1 or Voodoo #1 in the new52DC. Ain't I stinker? (laughs)

My sentiments (almost) exactly. I endured the AWFUL second arc on Batwoman and was recently VERY happy with the recent return of JH on art duties. But now it seems that he's going to be needing a fill-in before the current arc is over? VERY DISAPPOINTED. My every instinct tell me to drop the series before this issue hits stands, but I'm going to have to take a wait-and-see approach simply because I enjoyed the most recent issue SO much. If I start to sour on the story at all, however, this will be my jumping-off point.

I could not care less about JH on a Sandman project. Not even if Gaiman is writing it. Sandman was by far my favorite comics series of the '90s, but it isn't the '90s anymore, this prequel project did not need to happen, and Gaiman imo isn't a tenth the writer he used to be.

In other news, I like Capullo and think the upcoming Joker storyline sounds cool... but as with the Owls I think they are overdoing it a bit. I'd rather just have a neat Joker story. But instead we have Snyder, Capullo, and editorial all drumming it into our heads that this is going to be the greatest thing ever and that the Joker will be more bloodthirsty and maniacal than before. I'm optimistic, but kind of have to roll my eyes.

That Silk Spectre statue is really cute.

Oooh, I missed both the Sleeper Omnibus and the Silk Spectre statue. Can't afford either one, but yeah, they both look/sound great.

I ran through the list and have 7 single issues, 3 trades. I'm most excited for Animal Man vol 2.
  • Looks like I'll be picking up Aquaman this month in addition to my pull list. I'll probably get Wonder Woman too, I got issue 12 and it looks like this is where it picks up. Wish I could get more of the Batman crossover, but I just can't afford it with all the books I'm getting now and the MARVEL NOW! relaunching of titles.

Nothing beyond the normal three books I pick up. So I am now paying $3.99 just for the Shazam backup in JL, not interested in the crossover.
  • Two things caught my eye, which, unfortunately, my very thin wallet won't be able to help me with:

House Of Secrets Omnibus - While not my favorite incarnation of the series, it was still quite good. The art by Teddy Kristiansen was especially appropriate to the creepiness of the stories.

Hard Time vol 2 - I'd forgotten that Steve Gerber had written this series for DC. I've never yet been disappointed by Gerber. I'm not ready to get this yet, since I still need volume 1 first, but it goes on my list of books to eventually get.

A pretty standard month from DC. The only thing extra I'll be picking up is Aquaman to tie in with Justice League.

Am looking forward to Swamp Thing though, revealing Batmans fate in the Rotworld storyline will very interesting!
  • Before Watchmen: Molloch? Really? who is asking for that?...facepalm. Manapaul penciling Flash is always a good thing. Hoping to jump on Hawkman now that Liefeld is gone but I think Nicieza is just scripting his leftover plot. Damn shame. There's a lot of energy building right now, I think we're about to start seeing some really cool stuff from DC.

Oooo... I can't wait for Before Watchmen: That Kid At The Newsstand Reading The Black Freighter, Before Watchmen: Those Two Cops At the Beginning, and Before Watchmen: The Fat Guy Who Works With Dr. Osterman At the Lab. I have so many unanswered questions about all of them, and I feel Moore and Gibbons gave them all short shrift.

They certainly aren't wasting top talent on the Legion Lost cover.
  • SLEEPER OMNIBUS HC
FABLES: THE DELUXE EDITION BOOK 6 HC

manageable month so far... if something has to go its the Sleeper Omini, which I've had in the past in trade (and sold).
  • Im really curious to see what DC has planned trade-wise now that we are starting to get second volumes solicited for the titles... will there be any Oversized HCs of the best books? Id love to see one of Snyder/Capullo's Batman run, but we'll have to wait and see.

DC will just be my normal haul...

Image: I like the sound of Blackacre #1 and the Spawn cover made me smile.

No manhattan projects or planetoid this month?

But at least we have Saga! \:D/

I'd quite like to pick up the Revival trade. I know you CGS guys are on the whole 'Supportin Norton' drive, but is the story any good? I've read issue one and was intrigued. Is it worth getting the trade?

I just started reading Saga from the last issue, I understood what was going but I'm also to look and get 1-5, though the 1-6 set of first prints is going for 60 bucks, or just get the 10 dollar trade.

The Image #1's do not really interest me this month like they did last month. I'm most excited for Chew volume 3. If my dcbs order isn't too large I'll snag the Revival and Think Tank trades.

I'll likely be picking that one up. I've read the first few issues of it and that's been enough for me to think it'll be a good one. And that's even if I wasn't "supportin' Norton!" :)

So they are ending Amazing Spiderman at 700. I figured they would be keeping this one going. I'll be getting 699, 699.1, and 700 I guess. I've collected a lot of AMS over the years and may as well finish it off.

Avengers, Thunderbolts, and Cable/X-force look interesting but I'll pass due to the double shipping.

13 issues and 1 trade for me from Marvel this month. The trade being Nova Classic vol 1. Other trades looked good but this already seems to be a heavy month without them.
