All art is political. It doesn't have to be partisan or polemic. But there is a political element to every storytelling choice that gets made. Even in a fantastical story.
If I quit watching, buying or consuming everything associated with or supportive of something I strongly oppose, I would have nothing to do, watch or eat. I think Alan Moore is a bonafide idiot, but I buy his books. I am of the opinion that people in this country need to lighten up and realize that their personal opinions on politics, sexuality, religion, society and life in general are not the best or last word on anything.
