Miracleman, what looks to be Marvel on ice, a Disney character team up, anything? I have to say that the teaser cover for the new Black Widow ongoing is cool as heck.
They also said they will be adding new material like interviews and original art plus doing a complete restoration to The entire Miracleman run.... I cannot wait til January, talk about starting the New Year off right.
Silver Surfer with Alred sounds cool. Also Robinson doing a cosmic invaders story. Not excited about Lonshot but I'll try it out.
I've pre-ordered the Longshot mini-series, but to me, Longshot just seems like the precursor to Image Comics. All style and no substance. He was to the 80's what Gambit was to the 90's. And that whole "Shatterstar is my son & my father" bit was kind of wonky, but yeah, I pre-ordered the upcoming Longshot Saves the Marvel Universe... I'm glutton for punishment. It was announced back in July btw.
Now the Slott/Alred take on Silver Surfer has me intrigued. I remember Slott letting his computer screen contents slip back at Wondercon in March of this year and it revealed he was working on the Silver Surfer. As a pro-Marvel cosmic fanboy myself I couldn't help but get a bit giddy from the idea. I loved the Ron Lim run back in the 90's, but a team-up like these guys is rife with potential. Alred's art will most likely remind many SS fans of the Buscema / Sinnott salad days of Norin Radd. I'm definitely in through the first arc and possibly many to follow.

Should I assume the value of my original MM issues and Trades will plummet?

I saw three or four different issues of the Moore run at NYCC in a $3 bin. Not the key issues, but still.
Issue 15 for me, is still the greatest and also the most horrifying fight in super hero comics. As for issue 9, I wonder how Marvel are going to present that?
Fans lucky enough to have read these trailblazing stories when they were originally produced have often referred to this legendary run on Miracleman as ‘the lost Watchmen,’ and Marvel is proud to finally bring these incredible comics to an audience that has clamored for them.
So how about that attempt to eliminate confusion without actually mentioning Moore's name?
The Miracleman announcement is the big thing, of course, and Slott / Allred on Silver Surfer means I'll at least be giving that a try, but I'm really happy to hear that Captain Marvel is getting relaunched in March.
I wish they'd skip the single issue release and go straight for the shiny HCs.
I am guessing they need to do the comics to recoup the costs of digitizing and cleanup, since rumors are that the film used to print the issues was not int he best of shape after Eclipse's flood in the mid 80's. Behind the scenes, I'd like to know how Alan Davis feels about this, since he was not happy when Eclipse printed his issues in the US.
I am REALLY looking forward to Dan Slott and Mike Allred's Silver Surfer.

At a recent con, I brought out a couple of issues for him to sign but he refused saying he was not paid for them by Eclipse. I assume Marvel will be taking care of him.
One of the surprise announcements from NYCC for me was the “All New” New Warriors book. I was a big fan of the original series and do find myself looking forward to this re-launch. (Even though it has been tried before, with no real success.) However, I do feel that a New Warriors team needs a “Night Thrasher” character on it. So what does anyone think if Silhouette from the original series were to don the Night Thrasher Armor? She has ties to the original Thrasher and with her “Darkforce” power in addition to Thrasher’s gear, minus the skateboard (of course), it might be an interesting take on the character. I know that Marvel is looking for more female heroes, so I thought this might be a good way to put a interesting twist on an old character. Any thoughts, anyone who remembers this series?
Also I think at this point they could have dropped the “New” from the title and just gotten away with calling it “the Warriors.” People who are still fans of the first volume I am pretty sure would have still found it. Plus it might be a way to put some distance between this New Version and the 3 failed volumes that came after the original. Oh well...Fifths-time's a charm!

Miracleman back in print is the best news.
If so, this doubles my interest in getting it.
