A quick question for the more techie of you than me. . . which is most of you, and thanks in advance for any advice or experience on this:
We are borrowing a vacation house for some time away. It is beautiful, but doesn't have Internet, and even though it is vacation(ish) we both will have to keep on top of work while we are away. So I thought my plan would be to get one of those USB stick wireless devices that we could stick into either of our work laptops (...ladies).
As this is a short time we need such a thing before we are back into our usually bathed in Wifi lives, I am leaning towards something like
the Virgin Mobile one where you don't have to sign a contract, you just get data plans by the day or by the month, and since we will be away for six days, just go ahead and pay for a month of use (maybe going for the 6GB month in case my wife has to review any video or watch dailies for work). Does that sound like it makes sense? Has anyone out there used this or a similar product, maybe even from Virgin, and have an opinion yay or nay? What Would Batman Do?
Thanks again- I know this is not the most exciting topic.
