Whelp. Seems to me that the real Peter Parker may be coming back sooner rather than later. and maybe this Otto character will merge or something with Spider-man 2099

DAMMIT. I guess I knew it had to happen but frankly I could have read Doc Ock as Spidey forever. I have always been a Spidey fan forever but the character has never been this interesting or fun as he has been in this Superior run...

I was with you when Peter was the ghost/angel/conscious. Thought that relationship could be worked through more than they did. Just not as much funny as I like for a spidey book now.
though spidey-ock vs green goblin does sound interesting
I haven't been bothering with the Spider-Man titles, just his appearances in the various Avengers titles... and I have to say that the whole 'Superior' thing gets pretty wearying over there. I'll be quite happy to have the old Spidey back.
While I was interested at first, I am pretty tired of Spider-Ock and am looking forward to Peter's triumphant return. I was assuming that in Amazing Spider-man 700.1-700.5 the loophole of how Peter would return would be planted. I always liked the Spider-man 2099 character and have enjoyed seeing him around recently. I think it might be interesting if he were to take over as the main character of "Superior Spider-man" after Peter's return. Though I would like to see him flung back into the future.
Glad Peter is finally returning, but I've gotten bored with Dan Slott writing Spidey and still have a hard time liking Humberto's art. I've been waiting for Peter's return so it's probably going on my pull list.

Agree 100%. I'm ready for a new creative team. My feeling is this is more about the May 2014 release of Amazing Spider-Man 2 than it is about being creative and telling good stories. My concern is that we're about to enter a very weak time creatively in the history of Spider-Man. I hope Marvel proves me wrong. Wouldn't be the first time...
I have really enjoyed Superior Spider-man but I was still looking forward to Peter's return ONLY because I anticipated that Otto would leave his life in such a mess that he would have to fight to repair his life and Spidey's reputation. Now if it ends with everyone knowing it was Otto or everyone forgives him right away then that would be kind of cheap. But I guess that since this corresponds with the movie then its going to be that way. But I will check it out still.
I've really enjoyed Otto as Peter, even though I would prefer Peter--it's a mainline superhero comic book, so it always returns to status quo eventually. If you don't know that by now, I don't think anything will help.
I love Humbeto Ramos' art, especially on Spider-Man.
I love McFarlane's thick, knotty webbing.
I've enjoyed Slott's run and I think it will go down as one of Spider-Man's better runs.

Previews just says Peter is back but I didn't see where it was saying if that was before or something after

It's okay...
A- it features no less than 5 of those quaint wooden water towers
B- the most central tower has some painful perspective
C- it's way busy
