This was a delicious treat, gentlemen (and lady, even if Dani was mostly silent). Loved every minute of it. Especially Pants and his inability to sit in the right seat when choosing teams. :D

I don't want to tell you guys how to run your podcast, but I think this should be a CGS tradition. Get all the Geeks you can into the room and play trivia at the end of every year. It will probably be one of the biggest downloads all year.

When the robot herald question was asked, I immediatly thought of this guy,

I didn't know that Galactus had a previous robot herald. Thanks.

Rebis - I have yet to read the Galactus Trilogy from FF 48-50 (sacrilege) so I'm not sure the Punisher robot was called a "herald" or not (the scanned panels I found online didn't use the term "herald"). More of a watchdog for Galactus' ship I think - especially considering Silver Surfer was the "herald" at that point.

Glad listeners enjoyed the romp. I wanted to do a trivia night with the guys over the holidays "off mic", so when Jamie put out the call for a big recording topic, a trivia episode felt like an ideal ep to suggest. Plus it was a hoot to measure up Chris and Jimmy and see where their trivia knowledge steers. Good to know for any future eps.

And throwing stuff at Pants is always worth the trip. ;)

I spent a few days prepping for this ep. I created the game in 1999 and updated for years until I got about 3600 questions - all hand written. Yikes! And then either before or during the earliest years of CGS I started an updated version which I had printed, throwing away some of the hand written ones that I duplicated. Combined, those cards probably account for over 4000 questions. I think during Episode 300 we had trivia matchups at Golden Eagle.

For this ep, I went through all the cards and picked out the best ones - the most broad in terms of trivia - and created a spread sheet so I could finesse the questions. I then added in a bunch of new ones specific to the other hosts, as well as updated questions such as the Blackest Night stuff. In terms of content, I think the original set of questions stopped at around 2003-05. So that's ten years of comics I could add in. Expansion pack! lol.

You did a good job Peter. I've enjoyed all the iterations of CGS trivia so far, and it sounds like it's time to give it the 10th anniversary update. I think you could get another 1.5k questions easy.
