I was at my grandparents house in Florida, when flipping through the dvr, I saw Arrow and Flash were taped. Perplexed, I asked him why they were there. He said he started watching the shows with this season, and he enjoys them and finds them to be fun.
I had so much fun talking about them with him.
The only question he had for me is if Dr. Welles was good or evil. It's a good question.
I noticed that the a-hole reporter that Iris had to deal with was named Mason Bridges -- was that a nod to Mason Trollbridge, the former kid sidekick to Depression era crimefighter, the Clipper, who hung out with Wally West during the William Messmer-Loebs and Greg LaRocque period?

I'm pretty sure I saw that confirmed on DC'S site.
I really enjoyed the episode. The girl who has NIghtcrawler's powers. Does she have some connection to DC Comics? I love that Linda Park was introduced and is also a reporter at the same place as Iris. I am so curious about Ronnie and Professor Stein and cannot wait for the next episode. As for the end scene? I got so excited for that. I cannot wait for his episode.
Question: Is there ever going to be a point where we see Ronnie and Stein talking to each other inside their head? And everyone else on the show will be saying "Who's he talking to?"
This was my least favorite episode of series so far and that's saying something because to me only like 3 episodes have been good to great most are average and this last one sucked imo.
The villain was terrible how they defeated her was lame. The only interesting part of this episode was the 2 ending scenes. The scene with Barry and his dad was touching and that very ending scene was awesome with Grodd so I'm at least excited for that

Yeah, it was fun to see Linda Park, and I already like her better than Iris, who just seems so wishy-washy and my wife and I are both annoyed by the way she strings Barry along.
Honestly, though, we'd rather see him end up with Caitlyn than either of them. Yeah, yeah, she's Ronnie's love and may end up becoming Killer Frost at some point, but we both like her a hell of a lot better. Team Caitlyn all the way!
The super heroics have been fantastic, but for me, the emotional aspects made the episode for me. Barry's interactions With his dad actually made my eyes moisten.
And Barry's "date" with Caitlin? It was a delight.
Oh, and props to Cisco and Hartley. For nerds, they know how to throw down hard.
I agree that Barry and Caitlyn would be awesome to see, but did anyone else get the feeling that they were going to make her pine after Barry in the same way they made Felicity pine after Oliver? I kept seeing her steal sideglances at Barry.

Yep.
Barry was as clueless as only a CW character can be.
I'm very curious to see how they do the whole Firestorm thing in tonight's episode. I'd love to see Ronnie and Martin speaking with each other from a visual standpoint like we see in the comics. It would be so awesome.
I really enjoyed the episode. I was hoping to see the interaction between Ronnie and Martin but maybe we'll still see something like that in future episodes. There are so many things that I can't wait to see how the writers resolve by the end of the season.
Did anyone else find it jarring to go from, “Hey, dude, sorry you're a nuclear bomb,” to, “I'll eat a ghost pepper if you don't go out with me,” so abruptly? Or is that just me?
And if I knew back in my youth that all I had to do was eat a ghost pepper to get a hot girl to go out with me, I’d probably have to have an artificial stomach now.

Or you could just use candle wax. Oh wait, that didn't really work, did it.
