With John Steed's goodbye, I started thinking about how many people here I "know" on the forum...but people leave forums. Life gets int he way, there aren't interesting topics, whatever... So, I think it might be a good idea to have a place where we can connect on other social media.

As for a podcast...I've been kicking around an idea for a show that looks at certain aspects of geek/pop-culture and why they failed (The New 52, The John Carter of Mars movie, Duke Nuke'm Forever).Does this sound like a good idea? I'd elaborate further, but I'm typing on an empty stomach.

Ha! I'm probably the only person left in Cupertino who still relies on a flip phone.
Then again, I'm probably the only person left in Cupertino whose grandfathered cell-phone plan is a mere $8.33/month.
