We've actually kept this up for half a year now! Kudos to those of us who've stuck with it, and for those who haven't - now's a good time to get back on board!

http://thecomicforums.com/discussion/2899/the-2014-reading-list-thread-june#latestAs always - there are no real rules - just keep a list of what you read - singles or trades or whatever. I bold the top 5 or 6 books and pick a "winner" each month, but that's just me. I'm amazed at how much I've read this year already!
Above all - Have fun!

July List:
Single Issues/Digital:
Rachel Rising #1 - 24 (digital) - I read some of these during the last week of June, but I treated them like a digital omnibus and I finished 15 or so issues on July 1. Dang this is a good series.
Saga #20
Star Wars (ongoing) #18 - :( it's over... *sniff* Edit: actually ends with #20, but this ends the arc.
Samurai Jack #9
All-New Ultimates #3 - 4 - This series went downhill quick. It's like the CW teen soap opera of the week. Issue 4 felt like an attempt to put the female teenage characters in swimsuits for some locker room talk. It just felt really forced and silly. I'm glad I dropped this last month.
Miles Morales: Ultimate Spider-Man #2
Daredevil #4
Figment #1
Batman #23
The Amazing Spider-Man #3
Silver Surfer #3
Hinterkind #1 (digital)
The Amazing Spider-Man #1.2
Captain America #6 - 15 (digital)
Avengers #7-17 (digital)
Lazarus #8 (digital)
Pretty Deadly #1-5 (digital)
Collected HC/TPB/Digital
Okko Vol. 2: The Cycle of Earth (digital)
X-Men: Battle of the Atom HC - got this one from the library (people actually paid $50 for this 10 issue story!?!). While it was entertaining in parts on the whole it felt like a big "meh." Renewed my position in staying away from big crossover events. What really left the sour taste in my mouth was the four (four!) epilogues. The last one in particular felt rushed and unnatural.
The Guns of Shadow Valley HC
Afterlife with Archie vol. 1
Daredevil: End of Days (digital)
Ghostbusters: Ongoing - Vol. 3: Haunted America (digital)
And yes that is the same showcase I've been reading all year; it sits beside my bed and I read 1/2 stories a night before I fall asleep. Jimmy olsen stories do crazy things to your dreams.
After I finish the Omnibus I'll start punching out trades like a beast again.
