Not comic related, but I had the chance to hit up Adepticon last weekend. Mainly focuses on miniature wargames and I had blast. Its like a little baby Gen Con with a ton of room for growth.
@Pants will we be seeing you in Minnesota again this year?
No plans now. The closest I'll get to Minnesota is probably C2E2 at the end of April.
So now that C2E2 is only a couple weeks out what is the prognosis Pants? Will you be at C2E2? Are there still any Jamie's Avengers buttons to be had? I met you at the 2013 show and I'd love to run into you again.
I'm still in Baltimore, which was my plan. I don't like the rush getting in to a new, different city, or out of it, before and after a con, or any other event driven vacation.
BCC was great! Biggest con I've ever been to. Got to see almost everyone there that I knew (making it up tomorrow at lunch with one person that's in/near town), but also met new people that were very friendly. I got an awesome swag bag from the Harvey Awards, and some great sketches, and saw some really interesting panels. I was able to thank the two MWs, Waid and Wolfman, and meet, and really talk with, Vivek Tiwary before, during, and after his panel.

Can you give me the address to send the preadressed envelope to get a Jamie D pin? I would really appreciate it.
I'm also planning on attending the weekend before, but just Friday, September 18th, the Cincinnati Comic Expo.

This is a really great con and is expanding every year. Check it out!
Two weeks ago I sent to the Taylor Town Comic-con
Last week in Jackson, Mi (90 minutes from Detroit) there was the MeggaCon
Got Fantasicon and Monroe Comic Con in November. They occur on successive weeks
Motor City Comicon's Extravacon is in September. Small dealer show.
Youmacon in November for Anime, manga etc in downtown Detroit.
Last week were the Syndic-con and the Windson Comic-Con across the Detroit River in Canada.
Black Age of Comics-Con in September
Grand Rapids Comic-con in October - That's just 2 hours outside of Detroit. Might be a day trip for me.
Great Lakes Comic Con has a small show upcoming in September.
No shortage of places to go for funny books. Most of these shows are like $3-$15. Youmacon is a bigger show so its like $25-35.
