One of the best geeky things I did in the last couple of years was going up to Peter Mayhew at Denver Comic Con and shaking his hand paw (seriously, his hand was huge!). There was no line for autographs or pictures and he was just sitting there without any handlers. I remembered what @JamieD preached about talking to these guys before they're gone and I didn't want to miss my opportunity. I told him what an impression Chewy had on me growing up. He was my favorite character too. My favorite toy was Chewy's bandolier that would hold my Star Wars and GI Joe action figures. Knowing that he's seen thousands of fans and I would probably just be forgotten later that day, he was still a gentleman and very gracious to me. It was a big deal to me.
That said... one of my favorite moments on The Office (U.S.) that is only slightly Star Wars related, but I say it counts.
