That's a valid header. If it gets to be the beginning of the month and I'm not picking up the slack, someone else can jump in. I'll still play - just copy the header and change the month! :)

Its pretty good. Iliked the second arc (5-8) a lot better than 1-4. I would recommend getting the first 8 off comixology To try. If you like them go get the trades. That way your only out $16 on a try out.

Try the first 2 volumes though; volume 2 is very different than volume 1 (mostly art).
I've not gone any further in the series, but I have through 12. Currently reading sixth gun.

Do we post just new stuff or anything we read?
  • fredzillafredzilla Posts: 2,131
I post anything I read. It's mostly new stuff, but I often manage to get some back issues or older trades in each month. However you want to compile your list is up to you. I had a lot of fun in January revisiting all the books I read in 2014.

    Fair enough, I've been reading

    Superman: Red Son
    Batman '66 21, 22, 23 (was a few months behind)
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 45, 46
    Justice League 41
    Convergence Crime Syndicate 2
    Ghosted 20 (final issue!)

    and more to come.

I rarely have new stuff on my list. I'm trying for the year of awesome. In which I read only awesome books they maybe new, but it has tended to be older titles I just missed. Like The Goon, Fables, Ex Machina, or Astro City.

What 'Zilla said - no real rules, rhyme or reason to it. I tend to stick to trades, but I also occasionally list a single issue if it was particularly good. I also highlight the books that were particularly good that month and pick a "Winner" for each month. At the end of the year I have a pretty solid 12 book recommendation list.

But go about it your own way!
