Quick Question: Anyone Having Issues with Seeing CGS Episodes in iTunes?

Both iTunes on my desktop and my podcasts app on my phone aren't pulling the latest episodes.

I noticed the problem last night on my personal computer, but I figured it was just an issue with my old laptop. Got in to work this morning and sure enough, same issue.

Just seeing if anyone else is having the same issue.

  • PS: Please note that those two screenshots are of the feed itself, not just the episodes I have downloaded. The iTunes screenshot is straight from the store itself, not the podcasts tab in my desktop iTunes.

Did you already download the episodes? If you did change your view from show "feed" to show "unplayed/my list".
The last 2 episodes are not in the iTunes feed right now so you can't download them from iTunes.

Ok, so they're NOT in the feed then. That's what I was wondering. Because I DID download them when they initially released and put them on my iPod and now they're just gone from iTunes altogether. Was trying to figure out what happened.

I guess the guys took them down for some reason or another?
  • No past episodes are on this page of the CGS site either - http://www.comicgeekspeak.com/episodes.php

Hmmm, normally I wouldn't bug 'em about it. I know there's time between recording sometimes. But it's just odd that I was able to download them and put them on my iPod, but now I go in iTunes and they're just gone without me deleting them or anything.

I suppose it's just a technical issue that'll get resolved, I just wanted to make certain I wasn't the only one experiencing the issue.

The episodes are still on your hard drive And you can still view them in itunes.

once you are in the podcast tab of itunes look at the very bottom of the itunes window.
There is a drop down menu it should be on "feed"
Drop the menu and select "unplayed/my list"

Everything you have downloaded and not deleted should show up
  • Same issue. I stream everything from iTunes (I have space issues on my phone and an unlimited data plan, so I'm not going to download anything locally) so I haven't listened in a month now.

Check the CGS app. 1570-1571 are still there as of this posting
