    That's complete Bumpkiss.

@Torchsong what did you think about Bitch Planet?
@fredzilla what did you think about Fairyland and This One Summer?

Fairyland is much the response to Young's work on the Marvel Oz editions. It was pretty fun. Mild language, but mostly violent. It was funny. I don't know if I'm going to stick with it unless it's a really limited series (4-5 issues).

This One Summer was pretty good. It was a coming of age look at a pre-teen girl as she and her family visit their summer home. It wasn't great, but it was one of the better things I had read that month. I was able to pick it up at the library, so it's not one that I own.

Ive enjoyed Fairyland so far. Issue 2 has a funny little gag about growing up eating nothing but sugar for 20+ years.

Bitch Planet was good, not great. Doubt I'll stick with it, but it's a very clever premise and certainly has a solid message behind it, even if they're hitting it with an eighteen-pound sledgehammer.

The internet has been talking about BP like it was the second coming. I wanted to hear a review from a reasonable voice (David D would have also been acceptable)

Far be it for me to ever be considered "the voice of reason" :)

I enjoyed the world KSD built...because I'm a big fan of dystopian fiction...a world where women are SO subservient to men that even talking out of turn to one will get you sent to a prison planet, often for life. That said, I grew up in a world where women were mostly in power - Mom ran the roost, I had two older sisters, I've had maybe one male boss in every job I've ever worked - so it was difficult for me to really appreciate the message she's trying to put out there. I'm not denying it exists...it certainly does...but it's not a world I've been exposed to very much. So that may have influenced my reading of it.

    Thank you TS.

I've decided I'm not the target audience of the Fraction Family. I try, but they just are not for me.
I've never really liked anything KSD has done so I skipped BPlanet, and other than Casanova Matt is more miss than hit.
