My wallet poked me in the eye for looking in that direction.

    sigh.

It's a wrestling match for me as well...
  • Not for me. I can't even enter the ring on this one.

It represents about 2 months worth of new comics buying for me, but I really am not intrigued with many new titles this month. I'll comb through again when DCBS updates their site later today or tomorrow.

    Marvel
Master of Kung-fu Omnibus vol 1 - this omnibus probably won't ever get a reprint so you might want to snap it up if you want to read Shang-chi

Cap and Falcon by Chris Priest - after 15 years of burying Priest Marvel is finally admitting he was a great writer. I wonder what brought on the change of heart.

    IDW
Street Fighter vs Gi Joe - for those too old or too young to remember Street Fighter actually did have their own Gi Joe line in the 90s

Tmnt - The IDW collection vol 2 - These are really nice hardcovers of IDWs TMNT work

New Dirk Gently series I think I'll wait on a nice collection of all the DG stories before I get them.

    DC
Wonder Woman of Earth 1 - is finally coming out. Grant Morrison writing the last of the "big 3"; I love GMoney. I'm also happy that we are going to get to read his vaporware DC books within a year.

    Darkhorse

Usagi Yo Jimbo Saga vol 6

Oh yes, that's another great pick!

I just got my copy of Previews last night, still thumbing through it. Saw a few more items that look intriguing.

Superman: The Coming Of The Supermen #1 with writing and art by Neal Adams looks interesting.

As does Thanos: The Infinity Finale OGN/HC from Jim Starlin & Ron Lim

Some other new Marvel items worth considering:
    Spider-Man #1 (welcome to the 616 Miles)
Power Man and Iron Fist #1

From BOOM! there's Bill & Ted Go to Hell #1 from Imagine Agents team of Brian Joines and Bachan

From IDW I noticed Wynonna Earp #1 from Beau Smith & Lora Innes- she's an agent with the US Marshals Black Badge division and she's descended from the legendary Wyatt Earp and is dead set on bringing the unnatural to justice (i.e. Werewolves, Vampires, etc). Apparently there's supposed to be a new television show premiering in Spring 2016 for this? (anyone?)

Also noteworthy, GODZILLA in Hell tpb (single issues were gorgeous)

The latest photo play collection from John Byrne, Star Trek: New Visions, Vol. 3

DCBS ought to have the new items up today, so let the pre-orders begin...
  • The two standouts for me:
    1) Power Man and Iron Fist—I'm totally down with my boy, Sanford.
    2) Art of Charlie Chan Hock Chye—I've been waiting for this book for months. Sonny Liew is one of my favorite cartoonists on the planet, and this looks to be an exceptional book. Here's a little info about it.

I'll have to check the dcbs website once it's up, but looks like no Shadow from Dynamite Entertainment. This could be back-to-back months with no order.

@Torchsong when you get a chance to read one Punch Man let me know what you think. I liked it, but I also really liked Dragonball and One Piece.

Man I wish I still had someone around to converse One Piece. I miss @John_Steed

One Punch Man the anime is supposedly brilliant, and DCBS had this first volume of the manga for cheap so I figured I'd check it out. Will definitely let you know.
