The "rules" are simple: Keep a post/log of everything you read and list it on here. At the end of each month pick a "winner" (ie. the book you enjoyed the most for that month) and post it in the next month's thread. Refer to the 2015 or 2014 versions creeping around here for a solid example. I tend to focus on trades, but if you want to log your single issues, go for it. Don't start a new post each time you want to add something - simply edit your existing post. I tend to bold the issues/books that really stood out each month.
New This Year: Just to mix things up...the list seems to focus on quantity, so let's add quality into the mix. If you read a book that really knocked your socks off - put a sentence or two out from it that clues the rest of us in that this might be a book worth checking out. You don't have to do it for every book, and it's probably a good idea just to keep it to a sentence or two, but I think this'll add some fun to it and maybe generate a discussion or three.

February Winner: Blast Furnace: Recreational Thief! (Indie)
March Books:
A Silent Voice vol. 5 (Kodansha) - Seriously, if you were a bully or were bullied, this series should be on your "To Read" list. Absolutely brilliant.
Multiversity: Collected Edition (DC) - Wow! I actually comprehended a Grant Morrison story without the use of chemicals! :) Seriously, though, I really enjoyed this book. I thought I might from reading the first issue so I decided to wait for the trade on it. Glad I did.
Injustice : Gods Among Us Year 3: Vol. 1 (DC) - For a series based off a video game, I'm continually impressed at how good this series is.
Tokyo:ESP Vol. 4 (Vertical) - the manga that does the X-Men better than the X-Men.
Doctor 13: Architecture and Mortality (DC) - Picked this up because Infectious Lass was in it and I'm a Drura fanboy. One of those fun books that makes you laugh out loud. In public. Also pre-dates Morrison's Multiversity (see above) by a few years and is arguably a nice prequel to it.
Lady Zorro/Lady Rawhide TPB (Dynamite) - A fun team up book written by a local here (Shannon Eric Denton).
Battlepug Vols. 1, 2, 3, and 4 (Dark Horse) - The always amazing Mike Norton. I knew this webcomic would look great in print, and it does.
Knightfall: Vol. 2 - KnightQuest (DC) - Always missed this section (because they never made a trade for it until recently). Hoping to get the third (and final) volume done in time for the Azrael trade to hit my doorstep.
Unico (Digital Manga) - full-color omnibus edition of Osamu Tezuka's classic tale. Really good, fun stuff in Tezuka's signature style, even if the ending is a bit abrupt.
Nemo Roses of Berlin- The least literary LEOG book. Watch the Great Dictator (Charlie Chaplin movie) & Metropolis. It was OK.
Rick & Morty #6-10 Rick and Morty is about to become my favorite licensed book. It is replacing Big Trouble in Little China
Low #5-8 Low is great book; the art is incredible. Screw Rucka the Overrated (95% kidding); Remender is where it is at.

The Dumbest Idea Ever - This is from the writer of Amelia Rules!, Jimmy Gownley. It was a fun autobiography about how and why he got in to drawing and writing his own comics. He seems to be a big advocate for children's comics/graphic novels. This was a treat to read.
In Real Life - Another good read. This looks at the disparagement of the different economies of the world through video games. I was in to the book the whole time, but the sugar coated, feel good ending was a little too ex machina for me. Mostly enjoyable nonetheless.
Anya's Ghost - Neil Gaiman's pull quote is plastered on the cover for everyone to see: "A masterpiece!" Did we read the same thing? It was quite enjoyable. I was sucked in almost immediately and wanted to keep reading. But "masterpiece"? Mr. Gaiman, Sandman was a masterpiece. This was just a really, really good Young Adult graphic novel. Sheesh. You'd think a writer would know how to use better words.
New Avengers Vol. 3: Other Worlds - I read it out of order from the rest of Hickman's run, leading to Secret Wars. Maybe that was the problem? Ho hum.
Giant-Size Little Marvel: AVX HC - Fun, all-ages book. I'm a big fan of Skottie Young's art, and this takes advantage of all of the "little" Marvel characters he's done covers of. I know many may be turned off by his graffiti-like style, but this tone of this book was very crisp and clean. I've ordered a couple of his Little Marvel coloring books for this month. I look forward to them.
Batman: The Jiro Kuwata Batmanga vol. 2 - Started this some time ago and only read it every so often. Just finished it. On to volume 3!
Nnewts Book 2: The Rise of Herk
B.P.R.D. Hell on Earth vol. 9: The Reign of the Black Flame
The Milkman Murders - Um... Nope.(Got this from the library)
Edit: his style is very Art Adams-inspired (or aped, however you want to call it). We probably won't ever get another monthly comic from Adams, so this is the next best thing.
