Probably one reason why SyFy doesn't have comments on their pages. I think if you want to know the FULL story, read the comments, especially on sites like Bleeding Cool, iO9, etc
“The people at DC are starting to understand we’ve got these iconic bits from our past and that’s part of us, that’s part of our heritage — we shouldn’t run away from that,” said Elfman.
I wonder if, instead of trying to make traditional movies with their hero teams, WB/DC is like... "okay, our gaming titles are the most successful properties we've got, let's just make videogame movies."
I’ve actually been reading some DC fans think these allegations are just another example of the anti-DCEU phenomena. That’s not nearly as disturbing how many fans think Burton is whining, needs thicker skin, & “wanted” Ben to grope her. We’ve gotten to THAT point already.
I've never been impressed with Affleck. And he's been considered sort of a louse for years. Here's the video everyone is clutching their pearls over. This was when he was dating Jennifer Lopez I believe.

That's it? Seems to me that episode was consensual. He was douchey and very handsy, yeah, but she was enjoying it / encouraging him / clinging to him, not pushing him away.

If I recall correctly, she didn’t have an issue, but I’ve read that as a general defense. I can’t always use that as the evidence a woman is okay with the behavior. Sometimes people are too embarrassed or scared to push someone away.

Also true. I guess the power to judge this belongs to Burton and Affleck only, and certainly not to me. Though it's clear that the current and final judge of this will be internet-fueled public perception.
Truthfully, the Weinstein case and its blossoming satellite cases like this will chastise men in Hollywood for about a month, then it'll be business as usual, I'm afraid.
Gary Clark Jr. is pretty darned awesome. I remember seeing on some tribute show a few years back, and was very impressed with him. He's got a great, nasty tone, and a really nice voice too. And this is probably the best cover of “Come Together” I've heard.
Sidenote: I tried playing a Gibson SG once and hated it. The neck just didn't feel right in my hand, and I didn't like the fretboard. But he makes it sing.
@bralinator Loved that! Thanks for posting it. Though now I'm nervous - I also loved the "Suicide Squad" soundtrack and then disliked the film. Hopefully history is not repeating itself here.
The social media reactions were allowed today from some outlets. They're not full on reviews, but so far it's not WW type raves but nowhere near BvS or SS reactions.
The reviews are starting to come out and the reception seems to be mixed. However my tastes usually align with the Schmoes Know guys and they liked it.
The reviews look better than anything else they've put out (except for Wonder Woman), but leading up to the release of the actual film, I think I would advise Warner Bros / DC to put out fewer promotional videos in this vein:

(Yes, I have a warped sense of humor.)
Well, the cover songs and how the quips & tone of this trailer are pissing off the hardcore DC fanboys.

I don’t see this one as anything overly severe, but then again, I’m not her. If Burton thinks it crossed the line, I can’t tell her to feel otherwise.
It’s strange that Burton is involved with the dude playing Thomas Wayne.

If you like these updated cover songs that keep appearing in movie trailers, this might scratch that itch...

Both cool for different reasons.
