On his YouTube channel, Kevin Smith described A:IW as a movie version of a Bronze-Age King-Size Annual. That is a great description of the movie.
My only nitpick is the stark difference in tone from Ragnarock. The after credit scene in Rag could have had the Price is Right "fail" music playing underneith. IW begins with an Asguardian massacre. It was jarring.
Is discussing Infinity Gauntlet fair game here? I recently reread it and provided some insight into the movie I didn't have when I saw it in the theater.

I recently rematched it. I have to say, it felt bigger in the theater. Even though I still liked it, it felt like many recent Avengers / Captain America films: too many characters and too much going on. Again, still good. But not sure it's one I'll want to rewatch often. I think Black Panther is far more rewatchable.
