Just in case you don't believe me when I say I see turtles crossing the road on my work commutes… I wanted to make a joke about how it wasn't crossing the road at the turtle crossing but I was looking for the sign and it seems they've taken the turtle crossing sign down.
Boys, the wife and kids got the books moved and shelved.
I started on the comic collection. First with all my unboxed comics, then the short boxes. I'm about halfway done with going through the boxes and separating them into marvel, DC and other.
As we were talking last night, you guys gave specific issues. That got me thinking what issues really informed my pre-CGS DNA.
Uncanny X-Men #211 - it sits right in the middle of the Mutant Massacre, and I probably read or had that issue read to me more than any other comic
Spider-Man #1 - the only copy of Boys Life (the boy scout magazine) I have left is an interview with Todd McFarlane promoting Spider-Man #1. I might post a copy of the interview on Facebook
The Tick Omnibus 1
Ghost Rider vol 2 #1-14 Johnny Blaze Ghost Rider was before my time, but i loved the introduction of Danny Ketch. The series goes to poop pretty quickly after the battle with Johnny Blaze but I really like those first 14 issues.
Kingdom Come #1-4 I will always love Superman because he is always good and always does what it is right. That informed a lot of how view superheroes and superhero comics. Kingdom Come is arguably the second most important series in my young reading life and still my favorite Superman story.
Sorry guys. I was packing up Heather and the kids last night and completely forgot. I'm sending them off to her mom's house.
I don't normally worry about hurricanes, but this is staging up like hurricane Michael that hit us in 2018. That was pretty bad, so I would prefer to have Heather and the kids up in north GA
Did you make it through okay, Matt? I was far enough east from it that we didn't get hit too badly. There were a couple of tornadoes south of us, and we had about an inch of standing water in the yard for a few hours, but not much else to speak of. Hope you and the fam are doing well.

Dang it. The holiday threw me off and I lost track of what day it was yesterday.

I'm not going to be able to make the meet up tonight. Rush proofreading job I have to focus on, regrettably. Hope to see you next time.

Conrad, I'll be on for a while.
Eric see you in a few weeks and good luck on the proofreading
So I was thinking DavidD is always lurking around the forums, and he should know our meeting schedule by now. BUT he has never joined our chat.
That is all
