I have listened to the Comic Geek Speak theme song s ton of times, and still can't figure out the words.

When this was asked on the previous forum, a shocking number of us thought it sounded like "Going to La Bamba." In fact, even knowing what the actual lyric is now doesn't change the fact that I still hear it as that most of the time.

NOW Everytime I listen to the CGS theme I hear "Going to La Bamba". I heard it right before you monkeys messed with my brain.

Kirby Krackle should re-record the theme song with all the misheard lyrics about cupcakes and La Bamba added in and then the geeks can play that on a couple episodes and see if anyone notices.

All of you are missing the best part of this theme song. Listen to the show in a way that your kids can hear it and listen to to what they come up with for lyrics. Its not "capes and laser beams" it is clearly "cakes and nasal beans"

I know it is "From Capes to laser beams" but I still hear Cupcakes or sometimes fruitcakes and laser beams.

Searched for a thread like this to bump it back up as I'm still a little confused on the lyrics for this thing. Reading the above thread, this is what I've got so far:

This reminds me of an interview I read with Mick Jagger, where he admitted he would often deliberately mumble song lyrics, so listeners would be required to fill in the blanks themselves.
