Hey, come on! How many of these are really obscure!? Batgirl? Stanley And His Monster? An obscure character would be someone who made some minor appearances and has since been forgotten, like Foggy Nelson's kid sister, or Daredevil's other secret identity.

Jack Battlin?
Mike Murdoch. Possibly the WORST story development during Silver Age Marvel, partly because it was so goofy, and partly because IT WENT ON FOREVER!
My obscure pick, Arcade, just made a cameo in last week's Deadpool kills the Marvel universe. I may need to make a new pick if he's going to be showing up places.

I actually had him as one of my picks, but removed him because he does turn up from time to time. I think he was in Dan Slott's Thing series a few years back, and apparently he's turned up a few times since then.
Unfortunately, DC plans to reboot him, as the hoodie-wearing "Thunder", his name shortened to appease the simpletons who don't know his full name. Also, they plan on making his alter ego, Willie Fawcett, a dick.

That Thing series is probably why I'm a big fan. Probably why I really like Slott as well.

And in the next big crossover, Geoff Johns will have him punch off the head of Talky Tawny.
I know I have a bunch, but doubt I have a full run. It is one of the many indy comics I discovered through Sincere Comics cheap bins. Back in the late 80s,there cheap bins were loaded with lots of b/w explosion stuff. It was 25 cents a comic. Or if you spent 10 bucks or more 10 cents a comic. I was going almost every week and spending at least 10 bucks. Discovered lots of great comics this way.

Cross pollinating the Shroud's appearance in this thread with my current run of Super-Villain Team-Up covers in the Comic Cover a Day thread, I got #7 today and it features a Shroud origin which is interesting in a derivative fashion.
I could pick anybody from the Avengers Academy or the Initiative. My favorite Butterball is already taken. So I will go with my girl Sersi. I used to do these comic book hero drafts and she was someone i always picked. She has an awesome power set and is a cool chick.

Pat Patriot
Sleepwalker and the villain 8-Ball.
Seeing 8-Ball again got me thinking about another fairly obscure Marvel villain, The Orb:
Mark Merlin, Supernatural Detective.

90's fun, @SolitaireRose.
"Matt now lived as a street hustler named Jack Batlin. He kept fighting crime as Daredevil, this time with an armored costume and a meaner attitude."
SuperDuper!
