There's something going on with the WB execs and the filmmakers. I don't care what people say Affleck made three great films in Gone Baby Gone, the Town and Argo. Yes I know Live By Night is a what have you done for us lately. Matt Reeves made a great Apes film hopefully one more.
Look I understand not trusting Zack Snyder at this point or even David Ayer. But those other directors I would trust
And now there's rumor of Mel Gibson being brought on for Suicide Squad 2. One I'd rather have him continue to make the films he wants to make. Two there's no way he'd let an exec come and cut his film to their liking.
I mentioned before I liked some of these films and have hope for what's coming. But right now things need to change
Now after Twilight I would have questioned this choice. But he’s spent the last 10 years working in smaller indie films and really improved as an actor. Check him out in a film called Good Time, he’s really great
I saw there’s already petitions started for him to not be Batman. I guess that’s what we do now; create petitions when we don’t get our way.
Has any other character generated such feedback when cast? Since 1989, out of the 6 actors cast (if Pattinson gets hired), at least 3 have been highly criticized.
Here’s another Batman movie I should probably be getting jazzed for...but I’m not. I realize I keep circling back to being satisfied as a fan with Nolan’s trilogy.
I am honestly done with another Batman movie. I don't care who the actor is, even though this actor seems more like a Robin type than Bruce.
He's older now than Christian Bale was when they made Batman Begins. He hasn't somehow been preserved in aspic since these dunces signing the petition formed a grudge against him for making a film that girls liked.

He's p. much perfect for Batman.
Thats fine, like I said it doesn't matter to me because I'm just not interested in another Batman movie.
Its weird that I have no interest in this. I feel satisfied with Nolan’s trilogy and haven’t really been excited for another Batman since. I’m starting to feel the same way with the MCU since Endgame.
