I had some internet issues yesterday so I could only watch one episode. It’s in the PG to PG-13 realm (PG-10?). It seems designed that you don’t have to have seen the film first. But in my mind it’s never a bad thing to watch it
I’m going to try it after watching the film since I think that’s on Netflix also. I saw it when I was young but have little memory of it except for the creature and production designs, which I can say were definitively memorable.
I've been watching Danger Man on Amazon Prime. First season episodes are only 24 minutes, so I'll watch one or two after dinner before getting back to work. Watched a few episodes of The Jerry Lewis Show too. But I plan on watching Dark Crystal eventually.
There is an episode where dax and 3 old Klingons go after albino murderer. I kept trying to figure out why I knew one of the Klingons; finally it clicked he voiced Mr. Freeze from Batman the Animated Series.
Is anyone else using the Tubi app? It’s a bit like Hulu, but with a smaller catalog. In other words, it’s free, but there are commercials. It’s mostly B-movie stuff, but there are some gems in there, including a show I’ve been searching for on my streaming services for years now: The Sandbaggers. I saw a very little chunk of it 20 years ago, and now I can finally watch the whole show, start to finish. If you don’t know the show (it’s an late ’70s British spy TV series), look it up. Basically, if you like the Queen & Country comic, you’ll enjoy The Sandbaggers.

Used to use it a couple years back when its UK catalogue was even smaller than the US one, but can't even use it now, as it's one of these "We are too lazy/stupid to make our site GDPR compliant" companies.
@nweathington I watched primal Sunday. Holy cow it was great
Most likely that’s all there’s going to be to it. Tartakovsky says he’s looking to do other types of things in the future. He got his Devil Dinosaur itch out of his system I guess.
The Irishman-While it was epic in its approach it never lost sight of its characters. DeNiro, Pacino and Pesci haven’t been this good in awhile. And I was struck by just how profound it was. It was the right time for Scorsese to make this film. It’s a monumental achievement.
Trying to get back into the flow of catching up on my Netflix shows. I'm quite behind. Saw Luke Cage S2:E1 today. Also on the list: Daredevil and Jessica Jones Season 3 Sense8, Season 2 I plan on eventually checking out The Umbrella Academy as well.

@DAR Is it more “adult” in tone than the film? Should the film be watched first?

And weekly I continue to watch Succession on HBO which is currently the best show on tv
Things I feel dumb for not creating.
If you were to ask me " Matt what are some things all kids love?" I would reply
Dinosaurs
Trains
Monkeys
Monster trucks
The kids have been all about dinosaur train this weekend. Purely genius kids show
My life has been Guess Who Scooby Doo(fantastic show) and Dinosaur Train.
Almost done with season 2 of star trek ds9.

Not as effective as Interstella 5555 in terms of creating a coherent narrative from an album, but some compelling sequences and a good album.
Thanks for letting me know he had a new album out.
Genndy Tartakovsky’s Primal is freaking awesome.
@nweathington I watched primal Sunday. Holy cow it was great
The other thing I have been streaming is NWA Power on regular YouTube.
It's so good.
It was so good. I would love to see a little more.
Just watched a trailer for Netflix Ghost in the Shell SAC it looked like freaking Reboot. I swear the CGI intro to season 1 SAC looked just as good.
If you enjoy the marijuana you might want to check out the Godzilla channel on YouTube. That channel has been bananas for the last few months
This weekend was a bender of Daedevil season3. I feel like Dardevil's entire series was a cut above the other Netflix Marvel shows.
Daredevil and Jessica Jones Season 3
Sense8, Season 2
I plan on eventually checking out The Umbrella Academy as well.
I watched The Witcher over the weekend.
I've never played or read anything Witcher, and enjoyed the show.
