Pretty big sale for Marvel (the series that changed everything you knew about the Marvel Universe! 8-| ) and Image--great prices on a lot of buzzworthy books!
Meh. I spent a total of $4 on ComiXology sales today. Disappointing.
That being said, Action Lab TPBs are on sale today--seriously dirt cheap. A great opportunity to see what our books are about, including $3.99 for the 344-page SubCulture Omnibus!
Just recently Dark Horse Digital has sent me a code - 50% on my next order and across the entire program. I've received the code because I didn't put in any orders for 6 months. They know how to get a customer back :D

If you go to the Best Buy website right now, they are having a sale on $100 iTunes giftcards - and selling them for only $85 + free shipping! Since comixology redeems via iTunes, and since many of us burn through $100 worth of comics very quickly anyway, it's like Santa is giving us a free $15 :) It's a "one per order" limit, but from what I am told, you can go back to place as many orders as you wish. Have at it! :)
Back when I did a Vertigo Comics podcast, me and my other two hosts couldn't agree on anything. There was always one guy who didn't like or hated what we read. The only thing we agreed on was Scalped. None of us liked it and thought it was terrible.
For me, it was the hard to make out art and the out of sequence story telling that did it.
I can't get to a computer this morning, but there is a sale going on for Street Fighter, Wolverine: Japan's Most Wanted Infinite Comic, and 12 Days of FREE Comics. You know where you can get the goods.
A quick word about the 12 Days of FREE Comics: each day's issues only up for twenty-four hours so make sure you grab yours quickly!
Day 1: Batman (2011-) #23 - beginning of "Death of the Family" story arc. Day 2: Lazarus #1 (Rucka & Lark) Day 3: Red Sonja #1 (Gail Simone) Day 4: Day 5: Day 6: Day 7: Day 8: Day 9: Day 10: Day 11: Day 12:
I'm a little perplexed. I've been buying Batman '66 digitally since it began coming out. It's been a lot of fun, and hard to pass up at $0.99 each week. That is until last week. For some reason the book didn't come out last week. I thought, Okay, maybe they're taking a brief hiatus and coming back in a few weeks or a month. Well, they're back this week and this week's issue (still in the middle of a story arc) is now $1.99. It's labeled as a Guided View book (as some of the previous issues have been). What am I to do? I don't like purchasing anything above $0.99. Is this a one time thing? Will the price reduce in a month? Why would comiXology do such a thing (I could see why DC would...)? I'm frustrated right now.

I think its a bait & switch. As soon as I saw that the Guided-View Teen Titans Go book was 1.99 I knew Batman '66 wouldn't be far behind. Still better than Marvel's Infinite books, which are 2.99 for even less content.
Seriously, Comixology must just look at my purchases and say, "let's give those away for free". 5 out of 8 so far (including Hawkeye) and 2 I had no interest it.
