I don't think I have enough knowledge to offer up much in the way of suggestions, I did start reading Fire by Brian Michael Bendis yesterday and the first few pages are pretty interesting so....
1. Fire (Image) 2. Red Son (DC) and the rest are some I found on a website that stuck out to me 3. Justice League: A New Beginning (DC) 4. Spawn (Image) 5. Booster Gold (Not sure what's a good story though, just hear people talk about him so would like to check that out)
@Krescan There is Booster Gold 52 Pick Up tpb by Geoff Johns & Jeff Katz writing & Norm Rapmound & Dan Jurgens on art. If you like that you can follow it up with Booster Gold Blue & Gold issues 0, 7-10 & 1,000,000. If you more even after that, I can suggest a out of print Booster Gold Showcase of the 80s material it collects 24 issues to get more Booster Gold acting like well Booster for around 15-20 bucks on ebay.
Once the winner of this month's pick is selected next months pick can only come from the publisher that came in as runner up (ie if a indie publisher wins this month then next month's pick will be from DC or vice versa). After that we will rotate on a regular basis.
1. Kill Shakespeare (IDW and only $8 at Amazon for the first trade) 2. Severed (Image) 3. Tale of Sand (Archaia) 4. Infinite Kung Fu (Topshelf) 5. Batman Gates of Gotham (DC)
What indie comics in tpb that is available on IST (or Amazon) do you want to review for next month?
Indie means no DC, no Vertigo, no Marvel & no Icon or other imprints thereof. Just indie -- it can be well known indie or a small known book that is still in print. List 5 choices as before and we will decide as a group.
Well I willing to work with whatever selection everyone can gather around be it this or that or something else entirely different out of left field. I want everyone as a group to be engaged for decision on the selection-- comic newcomer or veteran. Just let me know what you decide on Monday. Thanks!
