Can I make just one request to you (and anyone else who reviews the movie)? Please refrain from the BvS comparisons. I'm betting there are similar plot themes in the two & mentioning that isn't an issue. What I have been taking issue with are the tone, style, & presentation comparisons in the reviews I've read. I don't think it's fair to either movie regardless of which the reviewer prefers.
I feel that the line where Scott points to Scarlet Witch and says the he knows her too and she's awesome is ad libbed. The actress looks like she's trying to stifle a laugh.
Just returned from my trip to LA for the Premier. Probably the whole Hollywood hoopla, but I've got to say I was reeling after the movie was over. A great continuation of both Winter Soldier and Age of Ultron. The Russo Bros managed to maintain the flavour of Winter Soldier, while expanding the scope with a crap ton more heroes. Obviously my opinion is biased, but I cannot recommend this movie enough and I know you will not (cannot?) be disappointed. Can't wait to watch it again! So many highlights and the pace was so fast it was hard to digest the geek out moments before the next one happened. I knew a lot to the key elements that were coming, but to see it all fall into place was magic.
PS. Black Panther steals the show.
...and as predicted, no trailers during the Premier, so no Dr. Strange for me (until I saw it online the next day).

Awesome. Where does it rank in your top 5 Marvel Studios movies?

It is getting harder to rank these films. I will want to watch it again before I make a final decision, but it is easily top five, probably in the top three. I might have even liked it more than Winter Soldier... it definitely was a great follow up and continuation of Bucky's story.
I was feeling a little burnt out on Marvel movies after Age of Ultron (worried that I had reached a saturation point), but Civil War has me pumped for the next batch coming down the pipe.
On the latest episode of Kevin Smith and Marc Bernardin's "Fatman on Batman" podcast, Bernardin, who attended the premiere, rated it as the greatest Marvel movie ever.

I would be hard pressed to disagree... although I have trouble separating my experience from the Hollywood hoopla and the premier audience's overwhelming (if somewhat biased) enthusiasm. Hard not to geek out during a Marvel movie when Robert Downey and his entourage are three rows in front of you. I need to see it again in a "regular" context (and I will) to make that call. Regardless, Civil War has so many great moments... definitely "something for everyone".
