I know there was an easter egg in Iron Man, but I want to see Fin Fang Foom on the big screen, dammit.
BTW: Why does FFF wear shorts, and more importantly, where does he get them? Same place as IT!?
Just finished reading Nextwave (which might be one of my new all time favorite Marvel series) and there's two issues during which the team also is in awe of his pants.
Nextwave is fantastic, as is Excalibur (but only when Alan Davis was involved). But on with the Aparo, and another rare gem, his cover to Texas Rangers #72 (June 1969).
not exactly a cover... but an awesome backpage ad for the quirky Strikeforce Morituri series by the great Brent Anderson... thought the dude with the flashlight forearm things always looked funny...
i do not know how i came across this weird mini series back when i was growing up... but i just remember it was trippy and it really resonated with me... i mean a god riding a horse drawn chariot through space with a robot as a sidekick... some weird stuff... i believe this was the second hercules: prince of power mini series...
The comic book that turned me from a GI Joe and Transfomers casual reader into a comic book collector and mega fan of the New Mutants... when the Beyonder resurrects the New Mutants and they hold off the combined forces of the Marvel superheros... i thought they were super cool

They traded me for you.
This may well have been the last Marvel comic I bought for around 15 years.
Wow! I cannot get my comic cover images to come out as large on the screen as you guys! What gives? I use Photobucket to upload the images, then copy the relevant script-line over to transfer a copy of the image from Photobucket to this webpage. No matter which way I try it, I cannot get my images to come out any bigger than the postings you see from me above. What gives? Am I doing something wrong? I'm uploading high-res images.
Personally, I never bother scanning anything myself. I just do a Google image search and find the best scan (which isn't always the highest res scan). That being said, resolution isn't the only factor you have to consider. You also have to make sure your pixel width is where you want it. A 300 dpi image at 2" x 4" is going to be the same size as a 100 dpi image at 2" x 4", it'll just be a sharper image.
I like Bart Sears’ work just fine, but he doesn’t hold a candle to Kaluta. This Time Warp cover is Michael doing his best Frazetta impersonation. Those poses are so Frazetta they wear Frazetta’s clothes, sleep in Frazetta’s bed, and call Frazetta’s wife “sweetheart.”
