Today’s entry from the DC cover-a-day calendar: Arrow #6 (June 2013), cover art by Dan Panosian with color by Randy Mayor. Interestingly, this is the only image in the calendar so far that has a signature on it. All the trade dress is absent, but they left Panosian’s sig in the window of the building under Ollie’s right leg for whatever reason.
I had this edition. I don't know what it was about those price guides, but I would READ them... It was my go-to book for riding in the car with my parents. I lugged it around till the cover fell off.
Today’s entry from the DC cover-a-day calendar: Batman #121 (Feb. 1959), pencils by Curt Swan and inks by Stan Kaye, featuring the first appearance of Mr. Freeze, né Mr. Zero.
Not only the first appearance of Captain Comet, but also the first time Carmine made use of the distant-cityscape-as-background-element he would go on to make famous in the Silver Age Flash comics.

Thanks, as always, Eric, for the information. I love learning new things about my favorite creators.
