@dubbat138 I had those Doc Savage mags as a kid and loved them! Read all the pulp books, too. And still have a copy of that Punisher mag, very worn out from re-readings back in the day.
@WetRats Amazing that Vietch was doing that stuff 20 years ago!
Today's random cover of the day (Marvel 1973) -- masterful John Severin cover!
Yes! Today's random cover of the day (Marvel 1973) is a Defenders cover (love those old Defenders) by Sal Buscema. This is right as the Avengers/Defenders War kicked off, IIRC.
CGS Episode #1237 reminded me that I have a copy of the 48-page, digest-sized program from the 1976 Marvel-Con, the convention Marvel held for a couple years in the mid-70's.
Here's the front and back cover, since that's on-topic. I'll post some interior pages over in the "Silver and Bronze Age Thread"

I wish Hawkeye would had stayed longer with the Defenders.
One of my first comics, I guess it would explain a lot :))
Amazing cover. Some low rent DVD company put out a series of double feature DVDS titled Tales of Voodoo. These dvds your slightly modified versions of various covers from the comic.
