@RedRight88 posted a portion of this ad above. It was the VERY FIRST comic-book Hostess ad and was published in 1977. The fantastic art is by none other than Dick Giordano. And for those who collect original art like @Pants does, an auction for the original art for this very ad sold for $2,100!
Back in the early 70's Aurora produced a series of "Monster Scenes" model kits based around a Vampirella figure. Wonder if @Torchsong has one of these?
The hours I poured into that game. Between my friend and I we had everything, had to scan everything into pdf's because the books were falling apart. Never could get the metal miniatures that Ral Partha made.

I had this game, but I had nobody to play with.... :(

I had friends with it. When it became apparent that the rules set made it patently impossible to be a Nick Fury, Black Widow or Punisher type character, I lost interest.
Ahh, back in the day when Event Series crossed over through annuals instead of disrupting the ongoing series. If I remember correctly, the Swamp Thing Annual was the best story in this bunch.

Not a bad price, really.
Beautiful Mike Zeck ad.
Is this Gil Kane?
I thought these made a nice set.
