Saw this cover for Limited Collectors’ Edition: Ghosts #C-32 in the Comic Ads thread and had to post a full-size image of it. I remember the night I got this, as it was one of the first comics I owned (albeit a treasury-sized book rather than a single issue). My parents got it for me on the way to another couple’s house, along with one of those toys you push down and then eventually it springs up (and which gets boring after five minutes), on the way to another couple’s house we were spending the evening with—presumably to keep me occupied so as not to interrupt them. I was only four years old, but I was already able to read/understand most of the words in the book, which I read while watching the Planet of the Apes TV show on the floor of their living room. I think this is where my love for Nick Cardy (who did the cover) and Jim Aparo (who had a story reprinted inside) began.
I never saw the treasury-sized books. The local grocery stores rarely had them. The only ones I managed to find as a kid were the two for the first couple Superman movies and the first Star Wars. Cap's Bicentennial Battles was my grail book for so long as a kid. I'd always see it in ads and had to wait 20 years to get my copy.
The Planet of the Apes TV show was great for the short time it was on. I had the Megos too.

I had a bunch of them, many I got from my babysitter’s sons who were “getting too old” for them. I got Bicentennial Battles on a family vacation and read it multiple times during our stay.
Another Bob Oksner cover! Looks like a Carmine Infantino design though, and I don’t think Oksner inked this one himself. Could be Tex Blaisdale, who inked Oksner on the story inside.

The scariest being that $2 sticker in the middle that will rip the cover if I pull it off....
It looks like he is farting butterflies
And says his prayers at night
May become a Wolf
When the wolfbane blooms
And the Autumn moon is bright....
