Agreed. Gil Kane is one of my all-time favorites, for sure. Love his Silver Age stuff, love the Bronze Age stuff, too. But I never would have recognized that Adventure Comics cover @WetRats posted as his!
I was working in a comic shop when She Hulk #1 came out. No one was interested in that book before it hit the shelves, but the cover was the talk of the shop and everyone picked it up that day. Byrne knew what he was doing with those covers! Interest flamed out pretty quick though.
Not that anyone is waiting around for my post every day ;-) but just wanted to mention I'll be at Heroes Con and then off email for a couple days after...so don't think I've disappeared permanently. More covers from me in early July.
And I look forward to see what ya'll posted in the meantime when I get back! ;-)

Classic Steve Ditko
I love Ditko era Spidey.
From '73, George Tuska does the cover of Daredevil...during the period when Black Widow got co-billing in the title...
Is the green guy supposed to be giant, or is the perspective wonky?
I'm very confused.
This really shows the direction he was heading.
This is from ten years later.
This appears to be Kane's first cover. (1945)
Btw, I love Gil Kane!
