    So I got my DCBS shipment this morning (at the office) and Archaia's City in the Desert came in. I won't be able to dig into it until tonight, but man, they can make a book look great. It's another amazing "packaging" job by Archaia.

    LCS:
    Fearless Defenders #4
    Rocketeer Adventures Treasury Edition - Love these IDW treasury editions, and both the mix of creators represented and the size of the artwork made this a no-brainer.
    Superman #207 - 30th anniversary issue and an 80 Page Giant to boot.
    Comic Book Creator #1 - New TwoMorrows mag from Comic Book Artist's Jon B. Cooke, who happens to be local, so my LCS did a launch/signing event for this; Jon's a very nice guy, and I got to see a preview of the Joe Kubert issue coming out this summer and it looks gorgeous.

    Digital:
    Aw Yeah Comics! #1 - This was a lot of fun. If you liked Tiny Titans or Superman Family Adventures, this'll be right up your alley. If you didn't like those, see a doctor because there's clearly something wrong with you.

    Addendum:

    The Rocketeer: The Complete Adventures HC - That Rocketeer Adventures Treasury Edition from IDW reminded me that I still hadn't picked this up (and have only ever read the initial story when it was collected way back when... never read Cliff's NYC adventure!), and I found an Amazon seller who had it for $9 in Like New condition. Woot!

    Actually brought some digital books, rather then just grabbing the free ones.

    Picked up, Action Labs Snowed In and also Footprints a creator owned book from Joey Esposito and Jonathan Moore. Footprints in particular looks interesting, a detective story staring monsters of myth and legend. Big Foots brother, yeti is murdered. BF enlists the help of Jersey Devil, Loch Ness monster etc to figure out why.

    So... I've been on these forums for a good while now, but there must be a story behind the 'The... Edition' thing. What is it, I'm intrigued? And feel I need to know it before taking part in it...

    @luke52
    Well before this forum was rebooted we had a What was coming out this week thread. The "(fill in a blank" Edition. It can be about a comic you are really hyped for that week coming out, something in your personal life or just shooting the breeze or something funny you want to say. After this forum was rebooted Bryan Deemer (one of the CGS masterminds before giving Brian "Pants" the hosting duties) started the thread again but instead of making a short thread every week we just made it one long thread instead. I hope that explains everything Luke.

    Perfect. Thanks @mguy1977. I wasn't on the old forums, so that makes sense as to why these were going over my head!

    Fearless Defenders #4AU (when did THIS become $3.99?)

    Daredevil has extra pages I believe & Fearless Defenders jumped in price w/ that issue.
