Had a giddy smile on my face during the whole Firestorm "Fallout" episode. The merging of Ronnie and Professor Stein was perfect. Victor Garber was bang on! Loved that scene with Ronnie hearing Stein's voice in his head. Firestorm was one of my early favourites when I first started reading DC. I can't believe I just witnessed the live action TV version... and it was done well.
I am loving this show. I never would have expected it to be anywhere as enjoyable as it has been this first season. Looking forward to Grodd.
It was no let-down for me. I knew it was him all along, and I feel vindicated!! I also think it was the best episode so far this season! Looking forward eagerly to the next one!
Someone tell me why, after Cisco makes a gun for Snarts sister that TURNS THINGS INTO GOLD...why they STILL go after a truck full of money as a big score? I mean, I don't love the show any less for it. But it's a HUGE lapse in logic.

For the kicks, man! The KICKS!!! :)
I'm right there with you. "I've just made a gun that turns things into Gold. Better go rob a bank."

To me, I don't view it as gold, but more of a gold-like (worthless) substance.
It's been observed a few times in the comics themselves that the devices the rogues use or carry are either worth millions by themselves or were capable of creating fortunes -- and yet they still ran the criminal game anyway. I think it does have more to do with their personalities and motivations, rather than just monetary gain. Some do it for the thrills, some for revenge, some for the power fantasy... Captain Cold, in his earliest appearances, did it for love, being infatuated with certain women, including, at one point, Iris West.

In The Flash, Grodd dragged Clancu Brown's Eiling off into the darkness.
Two Weather Wizards to appear on next Flash episode:

HEY! Maybe THAT'S why he's called Reverse-Flash!
And I was wrong. I own that. Was it a predictable let down? Sure.
HOWEVER, I give them a lot of props for making a predictable plot point INTERESTING and FUN. I enjoyed the crap out of this episode.
