Is this definitely a "reboot" as opposed to just another in the series? Extreme Ghostbusters was billed as a followed up TV series to The Real Ghostbusters. As far as had been revealed, it's a total reboot. Wiig and McCarthey play scientists who discover proof of the existence of ghosts, while Jones and McKinnon are ghost-hunters that they eventually team up with. And now with Akroyd doing a non-Ray cameo, it seems even more likely.

For starters, the figures you're citing actually came from a 2005 U.S Government Accountability Report. At the time that report was released, an estimated 12 million illegal immigrants lived in this country. Of the 55,000 indivuals arrested, nearly half of those individuals' charges were being in the country illegally, and only 15% were for more serious crimes. Assuming that 12 million figures is still somewhat accurate, that is in no way indicative of the vast majority of the people Trump included when he made his blanket statement. Yes, there are immigration issues that need to be addressed and sanctuary cities, such as San Francisco certainly deserve to be scrutinized. Trump's mistake wasn't that he spoke out against reform, it was that he vilified too many whose only true "crime" was being here illegally.
Trump's words certainly have upset some folks, but his reference was to illegal immigrants and a Government Accountability Office study backs him up, citing that of the 55,000 illegal aliens found that they were arrested at least 459,614 times, averaging about eight arrests per alien. About one-quarter of them had 11 or more arrests.
You're conversing with a guy who eagerly camped out in a parking lot (along with thousands of other Star Wars fanatics) in order to see Star Wars the Phantom Menace on opening day. I feel your pain about the prequels; I truly do. But so much of what Abrams is doing is resonating with me. The fact that his team is going out of their way to drive home the point that they're going back to real sets and real animatronics. already addresses one of my biggest pet peeves about the prequels. The original Star Wars trilogy has a certain timelessness about it (even before Lucas went back and mucked with the plumbing). The Phantom Menace, on the other hand, seems to have aged exponentially compared to A New Hope. By stressing that he's returning to the formula that worked, Abrams is basically acknowledging that the prequels were a let down, and that his team has learned from past mistakes.
It stems from getting severely disappointed with the prequels. I went all in with those & lost to a bluff. I'm also curious what rejected ideas Lucas presented to Disney. Abrams has done wonderful stuff, but I'm not completely sold on a fan envisioned sequel trilogy feeling anymore like the original trilogy then those prequel trilogy. This could easily be another Superman Returns.

Louis was possessed by Vince Clortho - key master and opposite to Dana's Zhuul (note the Freudian imagery)Got it. And I forgot that Vigo was the name of the ghost inside McNichols' character. So that one was male. A dead, specific person from the past.I think a bit of both. Or maybe more mind control over Peter MacNicols character.Vigo was a man too. And the two in the courtroom were guys, I forget their name though.True, though I was only talking about the first one. I don't remember the second one well enough to remember the ghosts in it.
But that librarian ghost was definitely female and scary as shit too!
Was Vigo a ghost? Or a possessed person, like Dana and Louis in the first one?
Although, in the first one it seemed like Louis, as the Keymaster, wasn't possessed by a specific ghost, that I remember. He didn't have Zhuul in him, like Dana, he seemed to just have ghosty energy in him that made him a sort of thrall with an important role to play in the ritual. So I actually wouldn't count whatever was in him as a male ghost, like Vigo.

I think Marvel is doing a pretty poor job with their cosmic titles right now.Nova and Guardians 3000 were the only books I stuck with. Bendis ruined GotG, Starlord started off strong but turned to crap, Black Vortex was terrible, and Rocket and Groot are silly(after DnA did such a great job with them these books are a step back, imho).
I thought Bendis' run on Guardians was terrible. I don't know why he thought turning a fun book into a serious space opera would be a good idea, but it wasn't.
Groot and Rocket Racoon are fine books but they are for kids, I can't get through an issue of either.
I haven't given the latest Nova a chance yet so who knows.
