When I went to update the list it was still showing day 1. I've since added a link to comiXology.com to the picture so you can check there if I forget to post.

Anyway, DC has a 7-Day Sale on Transmetropolitan beginning today.

I would get that if I didn't already own the entire series, but I will give 100% recommendation for anyone to pick it up!

imageIf you've never read Runaways, you need to rectify that right now. Marvel is also reissuing the print versions. However you get them, get this series. You're welcome.

There it is, 20 days of summer reading. Did you get them all? Which ones have you read and really liked? Any books that you look forward to reading?

I got all but the first one. I put their website on my phone and didn't miss any after that. I haven't read any yet but I am looking forward to the Afterlife with Archie, Silver Surfer, I heard good things about Shutter, and you can't beat a $20 graphic novel for free.

Those Transformers bundles are very tempting, but I actually own all of those physically.

It'd be nice to have them in digital, but I'm not keen on paying multiple times for the same material.

Still... if I were going to double-dip, that would be the series I'd pick. The Marvel Transformers series was the first of which I ever owned the entire run, the first time I had to seek out back issues...

Decisions, decisions. I have six days to torture myself over this. We shall see.

    We. Shall. See.

ARGH! I've been waiting forever for a Rachel Rising sale, but I killed my budget on the Mark Waid sale last week and this only lasts 24 hours!

ARGH! I've been waiting forever for a Rachel Rising sale, but I killed my budget on the Mark Waid sale last week and this only lasts 24 hours!

I already had all the Waid stuff (btw, they're all great reads!) and I've been wanting to get into Rachel Rising for a while. I missed it when it began and I wanted to wait to get the collected editions. Instead I grabbed the bundle for this.

I won't normally purchase things through comiXology as they no longer support in-app purchases, but I've wanted to read this series for a long time. And a person's budget is their budget, but $20 for 24 comics!? Surely you could forego filling your gas tank this week and walk to work? ;)

Sadly I live 70 miles from my job. But maybe if I bike in, then live like a street person... Eh I'll just wait for a single volume complete series like they did for Echo.

I've also haven't bought single issues from Comixology recently due to the in app purchase issue, but they have definitely been making an effort with the bundles they've offered.

All right, digital brothers and sisters. I'm away on holiday this week with my family in Yellowstone (God, it's gorgeous up here!) so I'm not sure I'll be able to post the sales from this week. Real spotty wifi so I'm lucky to get this out. Anyway, there's also a Superman sale happening for 7 days (comiXology's link is broken, that's why I linked to their home page for when it's fixed). Enjoy your week!

    From Bleeding Cool:

ComiXology are running a consumer survey. You can take part here.

The survey asks about your digital and print comic buying habits, as well as individual questions about the Amazon purchases. The questions they are asking are below.

But for those who really want them to bring back the In-App purchase, this is your chance. It will likely have zero effect against the instigation of company-wide Amazon policy…but you never know.

What, if anything, would you like to see improved on the comixology.com website?

Your answer: Bring back in-app purchases on iOS and Android devices.

    Do the right thing. ;)

Realised today that if I use a VPN to appear American I can buy the books that aren't on the UK comixology site (i.e. all the Viz Media stuff that was recently added). Also makes some collections cheaper to buy (single issues seem p. much the same at current exchange rate).

If I didn't just get Battle of the Atom from the library and thought it was "meh," I'd be all over that sale.
