Seriously, this is the first Fantastic Four trailer that lays to rest many of the doubts that have been simmering for a while. And it's a MovieTickets.com ad that just lays out the characters and their powers. Seems simple enough.

I can't see this putting anything to rest.
(If the first trailer didn't do it, I can't see this thing having any effect)
On the are they/aren't they purging FF/X-Men issue: This image is pretty They Are.
^^ So, that poster is the one that licensing probably cut together by licensing for Trends International to sell.
And here is what the actual comics-making folks at Marvel sent out today to tease the All-New, All-Different, (But-Still-Has-X-Men-And-FF-Characters-In-It) Marvel Universe:
I wish that was the trailer. Nothing about this movie looks bad. It just doesn't feel like a Fantastic Four movie. I do want to see it. Just not in the theater.
Sigh. Agreed. And what's with putting wigs on the actresses who play Sue Storm? Were there really no capable/qualified blonde haired, blue eyed actresses with the chops to play Invisible Woman available and willing?
Besides, why make her blonde at all if your only choice is to have her wear a wig? When you're okay with casting a black actor as the Human Torch, why would you even concern yourself over Sue's hair color? Seems a bit foolish.

Agreed. Just make Sue black, too. Then you eliminate the need for extra narrative.
It may be that when picking actors they weren't starting with color, and that they actually wanted Mara for the role because they wanted Mara for the role.
As for why they needed to make her blond to match the character? Not sure. But it is not like that is anything new this movie is doing. Chris Evans is a bottle blond, and Chris Hemsworth wore a wig in his first few times as Thor.

There really is no way to know, but I'm sure you're right. They wanted Mara, but they could have probably just used her natural hair color. Maybe she messed it up bleaching it or something...?
I am a fan of bad wigs in movies and TV. They are hilarious. But to answer the question, @bralinator, a bad wig is like a boom mike in every shot of the movie or seeing the stunt wires. It's bad craftsmanship.
