WILD RUMOR ALERT: podcast Pete's Basement is reporting that Marvel Studios and 20th Century Fox are in early talks to join forces for a film that would bring the X-Men and Avengers together, targeting 2020 as a release date.
This rumor should definitely be consumed with a large scoop of salt...
Kevin Smith has a podcast called Fatman on Batman. It used to focus only on Batman but now he covers just about anything comic related. ANYWAYS, the latest episode is part 1/4 of a conversation with FF director Josh Trank. I haven't listened yet but it might be interesting.
Thanks for the heads up, @Mr_Cosmic. Just downloaded it. In general, how is that podcast? I like "Comic Book Men" and have listened to a few of their podcasts, but have never tried Fatman.

Yeah, I think it's pretty good overall. The interview episodes are the best.
just saw the latest trailer... 0 interest... i'll catch it on blu-ray rental...
FF origin story is boring... best parts of FF is them being a family and exploring completely unknown and wacky worlds and dimensions... just skip the origin story and tell a great scifi tale... preferably non earth based!

His two part interview with Mark Hamill was awesome! 3 hours. Talks to a lot of creative talent of Batman from comics and cartoons.
This should have been the first trailer. I am now ready to place this movie in my Netflix queue. I might even be inclined to borrow the bluray from a friend.
I was skeptical of this movie when I first started hearing about it. Have to admit, the trailers have been winning me over bit by bit. Still very leery of how they're going to portray Dr. Doom though.
The FX look pretty impressive, I'll admit... but I still can't get past the fact that this still doesn't look like the FF. I still get that "who are these guys in the FF costumes?" vibe everytime I see them, and I keep waiting for a shot of the real FF showing up in some scene.

Since I saw the initial dropped trailer about 2 months ago, I tapped out. I only watched it once & knew this movie just isn't for me. When I saw the poster today at the theatre, I finally saw what you stated here.
If the title wasn't there, & with the shading on the Thing, I probably wouldn't have even known it was the FF.

I saw, I guess, the most recent/final trailer when I went to see Ant-man. I'm going to file this along with ASM2 as "movies I don't need to see."

Not all of them were from me.
